CWPT’s adult community services announce healthcare assistant and nursing recruitment day

29 September 2023 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Are you a nurse or healthcare assistant looking for your next opportunity?

We’re holding a recruitment day for roles in our adult community physical health services, and you’re invited!

In the community, you’ll play a vital role in keeping people out of hospital and cared for in the community for as long as possible. It involves treating patients holistically within their own homes and in residential care homes in and around Coventry. You’ll be a constant source of support and guidance for patients when they need it most.

The event will take place from 9am – 3pm on Friday 29 September in Coventry. You’ll be sent details of the location once you’ve registered.

There will be opportunities for:

–        Third-year student nurses

–        Qualified nurses (band 5 and 6)

–        Return to practice nurses

–        Healthcare assistants

At the event, you’ll meet the teams behind our services, who deliver life-changing care to people across Coventry every day and learn how you can join them and make a difference in a rewarding role with brilliant development opportunities.

At CWPT we’re committed to ‘growing our own’ and are proud to offer an excellent development pathway for our nursing and healthcare assistants to help you get to where you want to go.

There will be on-the-day interviews for those who are interested in applying for a vacancy, and successful candidates will walk away from the event with a job offer, pending pre-employment checks.

About CWPT

At CWPT we put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others. We offer excellent rates of pay, NHS benefits, generous annual leave, and an extensive wellbeing package to support staff both in and out of work. Our 12-month preceptorship programme supports all newly qualified nurses and nurses who are new to an area of practice or speciality. With excellent training and development opportunities, we believe in growing our talent to be the best they can be and strive to promote from within the organisation.

We’re always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity and respect.
