What is Step into the NHS?

Step into the NHS, is an annual employability programme for people aged 19 and above to learn about the exciting and varied opportunities available in the NHS and how the organisation works.

The 5-week classroom-based employability programme is a collaboration between Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

We have created this programme to equip you with the relevant knowledge and skills to support you into a role within the NHS, whatever that may be. We deliver a range of workshops focused on the specific “do’s and don’t’s” to support you in writing a job application, as well as interview techniques, and presentation skills. Each programme is unique and tailored, topics in the past have included first-aid, information governance and much more.
